Nai’a is located in Nosara Beach Club, Playa Guiones, Nosara. The property borders to the southeast, at the rear, with a rice field and mountains that frame the landscape. Its proximity to the sea offers the opportunity to fully embrace nature and highlight the surrounding context. Taking advantage of the ocean breeze, sunlight, and framing views of the rice field are key design principles. The aim is to foster indoor-outdoor connections, design from the inside out, and create open spaces that allow for experiencing the environment while seamlessly integrating the residence with nature.
This single-story residence features an "L"-shaped design. The main façade and patio are oriented to the northwest, along with the garage and the core housing the utility room and storage. Upon entering through the main entrance, an internal patio greets you, providing a private setting with natural light and continuous airflow. It also enables a gradual transition into the interior, creating cozy corners, openings, and visual focal points. To achieve spatial continuity between the interior and exterior, the social area opens on both sides with floor-to-ceiling windows, integrating gardens, the foyer, the social area, the terrace, and the pool into one continuous space.
Glass overhangs create smooth transitions between spaces, with light and shadows serving as elements that give a sense of time within the space. The finishes combine wood and natural stone for the floors and pool, with concrete and steel serving as the main structural materials.
